Resume
Bruce is fourteen years old at the start
of this story. Life isn’t easy for him. He’s smart, but he doesn’t make friends
at school. He lives with his Mom, but she isn’t really his mother. He has
strange dreams. And he knows that he can’t get angry. When he gets angry, he is
dangerous.
One day, in his last year at school, he
does get angry, and his body changes. He sees strange bumps under his skin and
his body hurts. He really is different from other people. Why? What happened to
him when he was young? Bruce is afraid.
Fifteen years later, Bruce starts work in a lab. He knows
that he is going to do important work. On the first day he meets a beautiful
young woman, Betty Ross. He likes her and she likes him. Her father, Thaddeus
Ross, is a general in the army. He works in Desert Base. The place means
something to Bruce. Did he live there when he was child? What happened there?
General Ross knows something, but he doesn’t tell Bruce.
Later, Bruce meets a strange man with
three dogs. They are bigger and more dangerous than other dogs. Who is this
man? Why does he want to hurt Bruce?
This is Bruce’s story and they are this
words. He slowly learns about his life. In the end he understands, but first he
has to fight.
