Washington D.C. is the capital city of United States of America. Twenty million visitors come here every year, from all countries of the world. But many visitors are American. It is a city of beautiful parks, great buildings and monuments. It is full of history. The White house is in Washington D.C

In 1789 the United States of America was a new country. George Washington became president, and two years later a new city with it’s trendy name attached to the states of Maryland and Virginia game lands, the building of the president’s house started in 1792.The White House has 132 rooms, 412 doors, 147 windows, 2.590 litres of winter paint. President Lincoln was very important in the Civil War.

  In Washington there are a National Air and Space Museum and a National                    Museum of Natural History. American football is practiced and the fast food is very common in The Eastern Market that is near the Union Station.
